Many of their staff is very unhelpful and unprofessional, from help to locate an item, to the return process, to price matching. They seem to hate their jobs and don't like serving clients. One guy actually said today: "half the walkie talkies don't work so I can't help you. You can look for the item yourself at the aisle indicated". The only staff that showed a little better customer service are the cashiers. I've been there three times in the past months and they continue to disappoint me. I don't recommend anyone going to this location if they need help whatsoever.
Very disappointing customer service. I wanted to return an item an was told to go back to the Canadian Tire I purchased from as those guys made a mistake. Leaving for vacation so I can't go back to the point of purchase. This was my last time doing business with this company
Dont bring your car here. No certified mechanic on site, even after we took an appointment. Worse, our appointment was at 10:00 and we were on time, as we hand over the keys to allow an apprentice to do the work, the service guy says, well start in 15 minutes, the guys go on break at 10:00... Hey genius, why are you scheduling work at the same time as the breaks.... and why does everyone take their break at the same time? I know its a management problem and not the guys in the garage but its still the same waste of time for us. Update: we got a call to cone get the car because a tie rod is has play in it, and they dont stock tie rods for the most popular car model in Canada... 2007 Civic. Furthermore, I highly doubt the claim because I just changed the steering rack and was coning here to get the wheels aligned, Im pretty sure I would have noticed if there was play in a tie rod... And who identified this anyway? Benoit T (service manger) said there were no mechanics there... The same Benoit is the dude who took our appointment and put it in the computer as a wheel balancing, hence no mechanic. When I asked about the mistake he first blamed the employee next to him, who was confident enough to say, look on the screen, YOU took the appointment! He then blamed us and said he took the time to explain a wheel balancing to us on the phone. This is a complete lie and is where he crossed the line.Why not just apologize for your mistake and give us a discount for wasting 2 hours of my time?
Canadian Tire is my favorite store to shop. Unfortunately, I will no longer be going to this location after today.Last year I bought this car safe for my stepfather. I did not realize until I went to wrap his gift that they sold me a car safe without the safe or lock, just a hollow aluminum frame. I have long since lost the receipt but brought it back to the store from where I bought it.The general manager Mathieu refused to even give me store credit toward my purchase today. I am extraordinary disappointed to say:this is the last time I will be shopping here.
I live 8 mins walking distance from this empty Canadian Tire. Wanted to purchase a Meguiars Scratch product which was available in store as per the website . There was 7 available. Unfortunately there was none when i went in person and check also with the sales associate which I should say was polite. It is not the first time I had this issue with this store they never update their stock. 90% stuff I went to look they are out of stock. Finally with the use of my cellphone, I bought it online right away on the parking lot of this canadian tire i got the product with three dollars less on amazon.ca . I have to wait for delivery but it's worth. The first product I tried to buy there was a kit garage door opener which I had to buy from another canadian store at Boucherville. Save your time don't go there. Since 2012 their stock are not PROPERLY managed. That was my experience. Thank you for reading.
