I have been to high-end, expensive Indian restaurants and seriously, none of them are better than this restaurant. Shaan Tandoori is a small place that serves generous amounts on your plate. Not just generous but also of high quality with lots of flavors to enjoy. Also, you can bring your own booze which is always a plus! I highly recommend this place for a date, family dinner or take-out. Also, to top it off, their naan bread is made daily and they are HUGE. I have brought family and friends here and I will continue to do so.
The guy on the phone barly speaks english . I had to repeat myself 100 times , got fed up and hang up . This is canada learn how to speak english if u want to run a buisnes. This is not indiaUpdate:Owner called back trying to fix it . So i give them 3 star inatead of 1
The worst service ever, we came around 1:30 PM and the man told us that the chef is leaving at 2:00 and that we have to hurry to order. Then he kept receiving phone calls and not taking properly our order. While ordering, he made this super fast and didnt give us the chance to ask and see what are the contents. The chef was shouting all the time because he received orders, we could hear all the shouting from the kitchen & the ambiance was very stressful. The service is extremely poor, I never recommend this horrible place. There is should be someone monitoring the situation, management sucks.
I frequently order from them and have eaten there a few times.++ Simply the best I have found in the area.+ The service is nice and cordial in person.+/- Delivery is a bit slow, but conform to the estimated time.- Ambiance plain if not tacky.
Small and unassuming. Consistently good food. I have a good amount of experience with Indian cuisine and can safely say the shrimp phatia is one of the best I have ever had. Saag Paneer, madras curry and Naans are all standouts. Highly recommended.
